Guide to Controls (BG 83/2023) written by John Marrow and published by BSRIA in June 2023, defines a Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) as: ‘An open control protocol specifically designed for lighting systems. An extended protocol known as DALI-2 was introduced in 2019.’
